I wish I thought of it first

So our house in progress.  I'm gearing up to start making some purchases and to really kick the decorating in gear, Christmas will be here before you know it and we're having visitors.   I came across this amazing idea at the Adventures of Renovating a Brooklyn Limestone Blog and I wish I thought of it myself, but I didn't so I'm definitely borrowing it.

I'm obsessed with the amazing frame around the flat screen.  Not sure how easy it will be to recreate but I have a very handy husband, I know he can make it happen.
