Fab Finds

Yesterday we made a quick trip to Homegoods and TJs and found the chairs below.  I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to make them work but I do have 45 days to return them if I decide they have to go.  I apologize ahead of time for the bad photography.

The Zebra chairs will go in the entry way, facing the Blue dining room.  I was thinking if I can find a great mirrored buffet with the right dimensions it will look perfect.

I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture but the fabric on this chair has chandeliers on it.  When I saw it I couldn't just let someone else scoop it up.  I love it and it's comfy too.  I'm thinking it'll go in one of the two sitting/living rooms.  Honestly, I'm hoping to find another chair just like in Charlotte this weekend.

New Digs

I ordered our new bed from Z Gallerie and it will be here in three weeks!!  I'm so excited.  

I must learn how...

Yesterday in my graphic design class we began to play around with fonts.  This is what I've been waiting for, I am absolutely obsessed with all things paper.  I love stationary, and that is primarily the reason for taking this class.  My favorite are calligraphy inspired fonts, I think they are so regal.  I was looking through Google images and I became fixated on the most amazing calligraphy.  It has changed over the years.  I wish there was a class around here to take because I would love to learn how to address my Christmas cards or invitations like this.  True masterpieces!

Love

I love everything about this room.  The wallpaper is to die for, the mirrored night stand is perfect and the bed, THE BED....is just the most beautiful piece of furniture I've ever seen.  Where can I get one?

Perfection

I am absolutely in love with the seating below.  I'm not even quite sure of the proper name for them.  I've heard roundabout couch or circular seats.  I guess you need a very specific space to decorate your home with one.  I've actually never seen one in person just surfing the web for decorating inspiration.  Take a look.

I wish I thought of it first

So our house in progress.  I'm gearing up to start making some purchases and to really kick the decorating in gear, Christmas will be here before you know it and we're having visitors.   I came across this amazing idea at the Adventures of Renovating a Brooklyn Limestone Blog and I wish I thought of it myself, but I didn't so I'm definitely borrowing it.

I'm obsessed with the amazing frame around the flat screen.  Not sure how easy it will be to recreate but I have a very handy husband, I know he can make it happen.

Starburst

I am loving all of these great starburst mirrors that have been popping up everywhere.  I definitely need one in my house STAT.  I have my eye on one out in town, more to come on which one I pick and more importantly where I put it.  Check out some of my inspiration images.
